Americans feels Internet as a lover

One in four Americans feels that the Internet can replace a lost love, at least for a while.

An online survey conducted by Zogby International and Communications Consultancy found that 24 per cent Americans felt they could ‘live' with the Internet if their partner walked out on them.

Among singles, 31 per cent of men and women affirmed that the Internet could substitute for a partner.

Of course, what these men and women found comforting was their ‘links' with other homosapiens through social networking and not just a lonely sojourn in the cyber pathways.
