Manhunt still too violent
Manhunt2 video game is back and claims to be ‘cleaner,' but child rights campaigners are asking parents not to buy it for their kids.It is still too violent and too full of needless mayhem and violence for anybody's good, they say.
The game, created by Rockstar Games, hit the markets on Wednesday with a ‘mature' certificate.
It had created controversy in June when the British Board of Film Classifications banned it as being too violent.
Rockstar Games submitted a modified version later but authorities only grudgingly approved it.
"It still retains its original visceral and casually sadistic nature," said the BBFC.
Players of Manhunt have to take the role of a man who escapes from a mental asylum and goes on a killing spree.
