A saga for old timers
Asocial site has named networking Saga Zone been launched for people above the age of 50.Older people, who feel lost in the youthpopulated Facebook and MySpace, can have their own kind of fun here.
It has been developed by the Saga Group and more than 13,000 people have already joined in. The oldest among them is an 87-yearold.
Instead of forums on rappers, film stars and sex, there are sedate but lively forums in gardening and relationships.
The site was launched after recent studies showed that many old people spent a lot of time on the Internet.
Saga chief executive Andrew Goodsell said they would be able to mingle and chat on the site.
