Striptease to steal data

Hackers are now using a striptease tactic to attract gullible Net surfers and steal their data.

Internet security firms stumbled across the virtual stripper the other day and have already issued alerts.

Interestingly, the hackers are using the scrambled text technique commonly used by Yahoo and other legitimate firms to validate email account holders.

Those who type in the correct words would get to see a woman with not many clothes on. Then they have to decipher more scrambled words to see her strip them away one by one.

By the time the stripper becomes totally nude, the hacker would have performed his mischief.
