Intel for computing revolution

Chipmaker Intel has unveiled a new microprocessor which is all set to revolutionise computing.

The processor, known as Penryn, is made of a material known as Hafnium and will pack 820 million tiny switches in a small area.

Intel has used Hanfium to prevent leakage of power which occurs in microprocessors with so much stuff.

The new nanoprocessor will speed up computing to unimaginable levels. Intel's top honcho Gordon Moore termed the new chip one of the biggest advances in the last 40 years.

The new Penryn processors will be used in computers manufactured by Hewlett Packard, Lenovo and Dell.
